Director, M&A Advisory Services
Chris Gamble is a serial entrepreneur, having founded, built, bought and sold a variety of businesses over the past 30 years. Along the way, he has also served as a trusted advisor to franchisors, fellow franchisees and other business owners, with expertise in operations analysis, acquisitions strategies and financial analysis.
When it comes to franchising, Chris has “been to the show”. In 2010, he and his wife Marsha acquired their first senior care franchise in Arizona and over the next six years the business grew to include four additional territories in southern California. In 2017 all five territories were acquired by the franchisor and merged with several nearby territories to create a single consolidated company-owned operation. Over the course of a year and a half, Chris worked directly with the franchisor’s senior management team to design and implement the plan to expand company ops in his region.
Prior ventures included a real estate appraisal company, a real estate brokerage and a land development company. Chris was also instrumental in helping Marsha found and manage a real estate magazine and a commercial graphic art and design company. When the time was right, he successfully brokered the sale of those businesses to the Gazette Newspapers.
In 2004, Chris and Marsha left the mid-Atlantic winters behind and relocated to sunny southern California. Their success allowed them both to devote a lot of time to volunteering. Chris found a great fit at the J. F. Shea Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center in San Juan Capistrano, and his proudest professional accomplishment is being named Volunteer of the Year in 2007.
On the personal side, Chris and Marsha have been married for 43 years and have two beautiful and accomplished daughters. Those daughters have brought into the family two great sons-in-law and three absolutely wonderful grandchildren. One family lives in nearby Laguna Niguel and the other lives just outside of Paris, France, so Chris and Marsha are fortunate on both counts!
Besides his interest in business and his grandkids, Chris enjoys time on his motorcycle, traveling with Marsha and time at the beach.
