David has seventeen years of senior finance and administration management experience leading public and private manufacturing, distribution and venture capital companies, including experience leading human resources, payroll, risk management and information technology. David has helped manage fast growth companies, as well as led companies through recessions and reorganizations, acquisitions and sales, including the “restart” of a Company that had to be downsized from over 150 to just 5 employees and then source, acquire and successfully commercialize new technology.

He has developed strategic and cost improvement objectives and initiatives. He has teamed with Sales and Marketing leaders to build economic support to successfully commercialize new products, managed new product development projects with R&D leaders, providing financial models for project go/no go decisions and collaborated to minimize project costs. To better manage inventories, working with operations management, he developed cost accounting and inventory management systems for public and private companies. Most recently, as the CFO/consultant for a fast growing, consumer goods manufacturer and distributor, David was responsible for reforming the Finance team, developing and implementing a cost savings initiative with the COO in order to bring the company back to profitability and formalizing the HR function. At a life science manufacturer, David oversaw Finance, Human Relations and IT and helped lead the company through several rounds of financing, establishment of new banking relations and, with the executive team, secured a national distribution agreement.
