Jay McDowell, MBA, CExP
Senior Member, M&A Advisory Committee
Jay McDowell is a business-savvy executive who brings over 40 years of experience to every business coaching relationship. Prior to becoming a coach he built an award-winning career working for Fortune 500 companies (including American Hospital Supply, PepsiCo, and Apria Healthcare) as well as in the co-op and private sectors (including True Value Hardware and a regional food wholesaler).
Jay earned his MBA in Operations Management from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and his BS in Business from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. His uncommon breadth and depth of experience includes high-level responsibility for sales, general management, supply chain, logistics and real estate.
Becoming a Coach in 2006 gave Jay the opportunity to help other business owners and entrepreneurs get amazing results. Before joining Performance Strategies, Jay was the owner/president of his own executive coaching practice. He has worked as both Consultant and Coach, as a problem solver and an executive, and understands the pressures, challenges, and pleasures associated with being your own boss.
As a Certified Coach with Performance Strategies, Jay’s clients currently range from attorneys to printers, to CPA’s, to service providers, to distribution companies to manufacturing/assembly companies. Because of Jay’s coaching, the owners of all these organizations are now making more money and working fewer hours to achieve their goals.
Having a Coach is the single most positive investment you can make in your business and yourself. Every top performer has a Coach. If you are ready to embark upon a journey to massively improve your business, income, and lifestyle – to achieve the ambitions and dreams for which you went into business in the first place – now is the time to get into ACTION!
